“Bridges of Saint Mark” hopes to help the Rach Suc Catholic Mission Church in Can Tho, Vietnam in the form of projects; e.g. water purification, playground for the children, transportation, and the like.
As was explained to me by Father Michael NGUY?N KH?C MINH, a Catholic Priest in Can Tho, the area where the Rach Suc Church is located was evacuated during the Vietnam War. Most all of the people that made up the body of the faithful were either killed or fled, never to return.
The Rach Suc Church now is relatively made up of new converts and the work to establish the faith in the hearts of the people is a daily labor.
